4 hot beverages to keep you warm in winters

Winters is such a magical time with snow and warmth all around us. It is so hard to get out of bed or our fluffy pillow to do anything in winters. But sitting around is not an option, especially when everything is so much prettier in winters. So, what is the alternative? The answer is quite simple-hot beverages.

A warm beverage like a caramel latte or chai tea provides so much comfort, warmth, and energy in winters. They are easy to find everywhere and you can also whip them up at home and take it on the go.

Looking for more warm drinks to try this winter? Then we got you covered with these 4 cosy drinks.

1.      Chai tea

For all tea lovers and even the ones who are not, this is one perfect drink. It is full of spices that provides warmth to your body. Sip on this easy drink while catching on your favourite series or over a snack party. It is pretty simple to make.

  • Just boil cloves, cinnamon sticks, ginger, and star anise in water.

  • Add any preference of tea or tea bag (green tea also works) and let it steep.

  • Sieve and pour in a mug.

  • Now, add boiled milk which you can even froth for the foamy top.

  • Serve it with a bit of sprinkled cinnamon powder.

  • There are many variations of it, but this is our go-to recipe.

2.      Creamy hazelnut latte

Nothing beats a hot creamy hazelnut latte on a chilly night or morning. If you love coffee, this will not only keep you warm but wake you up too. No need to pay too many dollars for a cup of hazelnut latte. Just buy a hazelnut syrup, or you can make it home by roasting hazelnut, crushing them, and then boiling it with simple sugar syrup.

To make the latte, follow the regular steps:

  • Use Nespresso pods to make a strong espresso cup.
  • Then put around one shot of espresso in a mug and add boiled and frothed milk in it.
  • Add the hazelnut syrup and enjoy.
  • Adding whipped cream with a bit of cinnamon can make it even more decadent.

Coffee pods stay fresh till you open them up, so a better choice in winter. Also, you can get coffee pods online, so no need to get out of that cosy blanket.
