4 ways through which you can make coffee while camping

Camping is an excellent opportunity to relax in nature and wake up to amazing views. And that too from the hustle and bustle from the busy city life. But camping can become a nightmare if you do not bring a few crucial things with you, and one of them is coffee.

For a coffee lover, waking up to no coffee or no method to make a delicious cup of joe can be a nightmare. The thing is, you need to pack light while camping, so lugging that espresso machine or various utensils to make coffee as you prepare at home is not feasible. Also, getting espresso from Starbucks is out of the question. But do not worry my fellow coffee lovers, here are a few simple things, tools, and methods to make coffee even when camping.

Let’s check them out.

1.  Coffee pods to your rescue

One of the easiest ways to make coffee while camping is by using biodegradable coffee pods. The pods themselves are light-weight, so will not take much space. Also, the machine is easy to carry, or if you do not have one, all you need is hot water and a mug to make your pods coffee, just like teabags.

They are full of fresh flavour and stay uncontaminated till you open and are easily disposable. Enjoy the view with your pod’s coffee in nature with compostable coffee pods.

2.  Use a FrenchPress

The thing is FrenchPress coffee tastes amazing, but it can be bulky to carry. However, there are designs of this machine specifically for camping. Carrying this simple machine with some ground or whole beans is ideal for camping. Also, you can use the FrenchPress to boil water which you can use for cooking or cleaning, or more.

Another benefit of using this is that you do not have to worry about filters. Just clean with water, and you are good to go.

You can even make a cappuccino or latte, just add frothed steamed milk to your FrenchPress coffee and enjoy!

3.  Instant coffee

Literally, the easiest way to make coffee is to take instant coffee with you during camping. It does have a great flavour and works well especially if you hand-whip it for a while to make cappuccino or latte. All you need is boiling water and a mug to make a nice cup of this warm beverage using instant coffee.

4.  Cold brew instant bags

Cold-brew is trending these days and is perfect for summer hiking or camping trips. A lot of companies have come up with an instant cold brew that you can stick in your cooler and bring it with you. But if you are not sure of the bottled cold brew, get cold brew bags. They taste amazing, though you need to put them in water and let it steep overnight. But the next morning you get to enjoy a perfect cold brew, so that’s a plus.

No coffee lover should be tortured with a bad cup or no cup of this warm beverage. So, use these tips and enjoy the best camping trip ever!
