6 facts about PUBG, we bet you don't know

PUBG became a sensation in the gaming world with its launch in 2017. Since then, many games have come in the battle royale genre. But no one can match the excitement & adventure that PUBG has. Maybe this is why, even now, people keep searching for PUBG cheats to get an advantage over other players.

Every player who is serious about PUBG knows that there are three modes in this game.

The single-mode lets you play against 99 other players. The duo modes have two

people playing against 49 players. The last one is the squad mode, in which a team of four players is playing against 24 other teams.

It is common knowledge. However, there are many other facts about PUBG that you

may not know. Let us look at the not-so-common facts about the Player-Unknown

battleground.

Fact 1: PUBG broke every gaming record in 2017

PUBG is not free to play this game—you have to pay. Honestly, it is not cheap either. Still, in September 2017, it broke the record of having the highest number of active players. There were around 1,342,857 players who were active and playing the game. Given that this is a paid game, this is truly a huge milestone for any game.

Fact 2: The story behind the game’s name

Several people wonder why the name of the game is so weird? PlayerUnknown’s Battleground doesn’t have as much charm as that of PUBG. The reason behind this name is the creator, Brendan Greene. He is a gaming addict, and when he was a player, his character name was Player Unknown. So, he named the game after this.

Fact 3: Erangle has a story too

PUBG has many maps, but one extremely popular map is Erangel. It is not a fictitious name: it has a beautiful story behind it. The creator of the game, Brendan, has a daughter named Eryn. He used the first two letters of her name and mixed them with the word angel to create this map, which is the most popular one.

Fact 4: The game will ban you for 100 years for misconduct

PUBG takes its rules & regulations quite seriously. If you break one rule, it leads to a penalty or a ban. For instance, if a player kills their teammates or so on, the game may ban you for a day or five days. However, if you are using cheats or third-party apps for an advantage, the game can also ban you for 100 days.

Still,

there are few occasions when PUBG creators may ban you without any fault of

yours. If that happens, drop them an e-mail to sort everything out.

Fact 5: PUBG mobile got an advertisement

When Bluehole corporation launched this game, they didn’t advertise it on TV at all. The game became so popular that it wasn’t necessary. However, they did advertise PUBG mobile on TV in India.

Fact 6: When the player is in water, they are safe from bullets

A weird fact about PUBG is that no bullet can affect any player if they are in the water. A few players have taken great advantage of this fact as well.
