Are you a budding writer? Tips that help you inside!

Do you love writing? Are you writing a book or your next poem or short story? If yes, then congratulations to you for sticking with this passionate but challenging job. Needless to say that writing is a challenging job, and there are days when the best writer has no clue how to start.

They have their ideas, their laptops, and their notes ready. But the process of starting a new journey with new characters can be overwhelming. Even for veterinarians! So, if you are only beginning your journey as a professional writer, you need a few tips. Some tips or hacks that can help you be productive while writing, which we are discussing below.

1. Have a framework

The stories where people say that they started writing anything that came to their mind to write a splendid story, it's crap. It does not work, and you need to stop believing it to succeed. To write a successful story or novel, you need a framework.

When you have a structure, you write better, and it can also work for writer’s block.

2. Use organizing tools

Writing a story on books or typewriters is not feasible or safe anymore. Even laptops can make it challenging to organize your story chapter-wise. Thus, use a tool where you can write your story and organize it chapter-wise. A tool like livingwriter, an alternative to Scrivener can help. It can make your writing journey hassle-free and productive.

3. Keep writing

If you are a budding writer and want to publish your work, you need to keep writing. You may come across a day where you will feel demotivated to write even a single word. Still, try to write a single word, and you will feel motivated to continue. It is imperative because writing every day will improve your craft.

4. Read, read, and read

When you read a lot, you come across new ideas which make you write better. No idea is ever an original idea as it is available in the literature world in one form or the other. The only thing you can do is present it originally. Thus, keep reading! It will improve your vocabulary and imagination.

5. Be prepared

When writing a creative piece, you cannot predict when a brilliant idea will come to you. It can be in the middle of a coffee run or going for your morning jog. Thus, always have a recorder or use your smartphone to record that brilliant idea. If you do that at that time, you will capture the idea in its true essence.

6. Embrace the rejection

Rejection is part and parcel of everyone’s life. When you are a writer, you need to prepare yourself for rejection by the publishers and your readers. If you take it to heart or do not get over these rejections, you will fail. So embrace them and continue writing a great piece.

With these tips, your writing journey will be productive. The creative words from your pen will undoubtedly touch the souls of everyone who reads it.
