Best tips to brew a perfect cup of coffee

Ask any coffee lover, and you will understand the need to drink at least two cups of coffee per day. Some would even drink more than twice, but never less. When you are so into coffee, buying it from Starbucks or cafes every day becomes expensive. And it is!

In less amount and with fresher ingredients, you can make better coffee at home. All you need is the right way to do so and also you must have the correct ingredients, like the right beans, and more.

Here are a few tips that you need to keep in mind to make a perfect cup of joe at home.

1. Buy the right coffee

Your cup of coffee will only be as good as the beans you have. So, if you love caffitaly pods, make sure that you buy it from a genuine seller. Someone who uses fresh whole beans to make the pods and whose coffee doesn’t lose aroma before you use it.

If you buy your beans, make sure it is fresh and unground. If you take the ground one, you cannot be sure about its quality and taste. It can be on the shelves for too, and once you ground the beans, you need to drink it within a month.

Similarly, you can go for instant coffee too, as not everyone has time to grind their beans. But make sure it is of top quality and do not buy excess of it. Otherwise, it will lose its taste.

2.  Buy the right container

It is so important that you store the coffee correctly. If you do not use the right container, you will end up losing the flavor and aroma of the coffee pretty soon. Thus, to ensure that doesn’t happen, store it in an air-tight container or a mason jar.

The caffitaly pods you use do not require any sealed jars but do store them at a place that doesn’t get direct sunlight.

3. Use the right method to brew the coffee

Not every one of us can have an espresso or pods compatible machine. But we can still create a perfect cup of coffee if we know-how. So, take your time and do the research and look for cheaper options to make your coffee.

For instance, FrenchPress is relatively cheaper, and you can use it to create a delicious cup of espresso. Similarly, if you boil your water enough and let it soak the pods, it will give you a decent cup of joe.

4. Grind your beans well

If you are using fresh whole beans for your coffee, you need to grind it well. You cannot grind it and store it as that would never taste as flavorsome as you wish for. Thus, after grinding a batch of coffee, make sure you drink it within thirty minutes.

Also, make sure you grind it such enough that it is not too coarse or too fine. Otherwise, it will not taste well.

Other than these, the ratio of coffee to water matters too. For espresso, 30ml coffee is enough for a single cup. But for a cold brew, you need a bit more. Also, make sure you use filtered mineral water for a decent cup.

Hopefully, these tips will enhance your coffee-drinking experience.
