Choosing the best coffee can often be confusing. There is a lot of variety in coffee, which is one of the best things for coffee lovers, so it is always a thoughtful process to pick one coffee. This is especially true when you have a coffee machine.

Talking about coffee machines, there are a lot of different types of options like coffee pods. Well, there are many different types of coffee pods themselves. Today, we are going to talk about Nespresso pods and different types of them that you might’ve not known existed.

So, Nespresso had initially launched 16 different types of coffee pods for their coffee machines. We will be discussing these different types of Nespresso pods in this article. Let’s begin.

What Are The Different Types Of Coffee Pods?

As mentioned earlier, there are 16 different types of coffee pods. To understand these better, these 16 pods are bifurcated into four categories, Espresso, Pure Origin, Lungo, and Decaffeinato.

Espresso

The espressos are nothing but the elite, classic, and subtle delightful taste that all of us enjoy drinking. This category of flavors is the shorter coffee and we can enjoy this flavor in various strengths according to our taste.

There are further seven different types of Espresso flavors in Nespresso pods. These flavors are nothing but a variety of blends of original fresh coffee. The six different types are as follows:

  1. Ristretto: This type of pods are manufactured from a combination of Arabica coffee beans with a Columbian, East African, and Brazilian origin and a hint of robusta coffee beans for a fruity flavor.
  2. Arpeggio: These pods are manufactured from 100% Arabica coffee beans from Central and South America.
  3. Roma: The flavor for this one comes from South and Central American Arabica coffee beans. It has a hint of robusta that renders a sweet and soothing taste.
  4. Livanto: It is nothing but an utterly pure Arabica that makes its way from South and Central America. It has delightful caramelized notes.
  5. Capriccio: This flavor comes with a strong cereal note. The flavors come from South America and have a hint of robusta.
  6. Volluto: The Volluto flavor also comes from South American Arabicas which are lightly roasted and give a biscuity and fruity flavor.
  7. Cosi: This flavor has a hint of citrus notes. It comes from pure East African, Central, and South American Arabicas that are lightly roasted.

Pure Origin

The Pure origin category is also espresso but they are different as they are specifically dedicated to a particular origin and the roots can be traced back. There are three types of pure origin pods and they are:

  1. Indriya: As the name suggests, this one comes from South India with a delightful hint of Indian spices.
  2. Rosabaya: This flavor comes from Columbian Arabicas with a fruity and winey hint.
  3. Dulsao: This flavor comes from pure Brazilian coffee beans with red and yellow Bourbon flavors. They also have a hint of honey and malt.

Lungo

The name Lungo is so because this coffee is supposed to be long and such that it requires more water than a regular espresso. It is known as tall coffee. The water amount required for this type is, however, not as much as an Americano. Here too there are three types and they are as follows:

  1. Fortissio Lungo: They also come from Central and South America with pure Arabicas and a hint of robusta.
  2. Vivalto Lungo: The vivalto lungo is a coffee manufactured from a combination of Ethiopian Arabica and South American coffee beans. The taste is a little bitter with a hint of Brazilian Cerrado.
  3. Linizio Lungo: It is a pure Arabica from South America.

Decaffeinato

Decaffeinato is a special type by Nespresso and it also has three further types and they are as follows:

  1. Decaffeinato: It has an aroma of red fruit. It is a pure blend of South American Arabicas with a hint of robusta.
  2. Decaffeinato Lungo: This one has a roasted cereal and creamy flavor. It is a South American Arabicas slowly roasted.
  3. Decaffeinato Intenso: It is a decaffeinated espresso with a subtle hint of cocoa. This also comes from South American Arabicas with a hint of robusta.

How to keep harmful liquid from spilling?

If you deal with hazardous liquid or waste, mitigating the risk that your employees, facility, and the environment have from their leak or spill is of utmost importance. Even if there is a minor leak, the consequences can be huge and ever-lasting for the piece of land and environment where the spill took place.

Therefore, every industry that deals with hazardous liquids/substances follow a thorough guideline that ensures there are no leaks. However, they need to maintain a constant eye and take various precautions to ensure that the leak doesn’t happen. Here are a few ways that will help you with the same because prevention is always better than cure.

Use drum bunded pallets and other techniques

Drum bunded pallets are extremely useful for ensuring that your drums/containers full of hazardous liquid or substance don’t spill or leak. They come in various shapes and sizes. They can provide safe coverage to 205-liter drums, and use galvanized metal or UV-resistant poly for the same.

Drum bunded pallet is a method to ensure that the harmful chemicals you are working with don’t affect the place of your work or the surrounding area.

Keep monitoring the site diligently

Another thing that you need to do is monitor the site diligently frequently. Investigate the site where you are storing the chemicals or liquids to ensure that they do not spill or leak. The bund pallet ensures the safety of the liquid, and its life is pretty long. However, frequently checking them for issues will ensure that you do not accidentally keep using a damaged bund or other storage essentials.

Ensure you use better practices for dispensing liquids

When you transfer liquid, the chances of spills or leaks are greater. Therefore, you need to be careful during that time. Tips to follow:

  • For drums, use barrel top-mats. It will aid you in absorbing drips.
  • Use drum trays or IBC faucets for collecting spills and drips.
  • Make use of pump nozzles or hoses for collecting excess liquid from the containers.
  • Also, make sure that you store all hazardous or corrosive liquid in plastic containers. Use steel containers for flammable liquids to secure them well.

Make sure to put a lid on hazardous waste

Whatever you are using to store harmful waste, make sure to put a lid on it. If you don’t put a lid on it, the emissions will become airborne, which will cause problems for the people inside as well outside the facility.

  • When the liquid turns into waste, it is best to keep it closed. If you are transferring the waste or adding to it, then you can keep the lid open. Otherwise, it is not advisable to do so.
  • Use these steps to ensure total safety of your workplace. Without ensuring safety, you will not be able to make your facility safe for everyone

Try these methods even if you deal with liquid that isn’t flammable or hazardous. You can never be sure what substance can cause what issues, and being prepared is always in the best interest of everyone.

Why drinking coffee can be good? 5 reasons inside!

Who doesn’t love drinking coffee? A coffee is one drink that not only helps you with focusing your energy and being productive. But it also tastes delicious. However, when we put our favorite Nespresso pods in the machine to brew a delicious cup, a part of us feels guilty about drinking too much coffee.

The good news is that drinking coffee is healthy, especially if you do it in limits. Here are 5 reasons why drinking coffee can be good for your health and soul.

Reason 1: It improves your mood

The foremost reason you should continue drinking coffee is that it is good for your soul. When you feel sad or stressed, drinking a cup of java with your favorite pods will instantly uplift your mood. The caffeine will also help relieve the stress, so you can better focus on your work. However, keep in mind that too much caffeine can also give you anxiety.

Reason 2: Good for heart

Coffee also is linked to better cardiovascular health. Several studies show that drinking coffee daily can lead to a decrease in heart failure, stroke, and risks of coronary heart issues.

The caffeine that we intake with our pod’s coffee increases calcium in the heart. That is imperative for ensuring that it pumps well.

Reason 3: It helps with digestion and fat-burning

A plain black coffee or espresso aids in burning fat and helps in increasing metabolism by 11%. However, if you take your coffee with tons of sugar, cream whipped cream, or drink lattes regularly with full-fat milk, it will not aid in digestion or fat burning.

Therefore, drink a cup of espresso to ensure that you take in the benefits caffeine has to provide.

Reason 4: It provides tons of minerals and vitamins

Our body requires several nutrients to work properly. For that reason, we try to eat a well-balanced meal. Sometimes we skip meals or breakfast and only take a big mug of coffee. It is not recommended that you do that.

However, if you do that, you should know that you are intaking Vitamin B, manganese, and potassium. All these nutrients are beneficial for our body. So, if you are thinking drinking coffee is not giving you any minerals/vitamins, you are wrong. Still, never skip on any meals and cover it up with a cup of coffee.

Reason 5: Reduce chances of depression

Depression is an epidemic, and many people are suffering from it. The best thing is to take help from a professional. Also, drinking at least a cup or more of coffee in a day can decrease a person’s chances of getting depression.

Reason 6: It is rich in antioxidants

Coffee is rich in antioxidants which help fight our body to clean itself by getting rid of free radicals. These things can create severe issues in our bodies. Caffeine is a rich source of antioxidants, which can help our skin and hair as well.

Coffee just like any other food substance can help you feel better and provide benefits if you limit its consumption. Try this decadent drink if you haven’t already.

Why does ever business needs a social media management team?

Are you using social media for your business? If not, it is high time that you start strategizing for social media marketing. It not only helps you increase your sales. But it also provides tons of other benefits that can help a small business grow and prosper.

However, still, about 50% of small businesses are not using social media. If you are one of them, it is high time that you get on board and create a social media management team or outsource the social media management work to other companies.

If you are still dicey about whether social media marketing is essential for your business or not? Here are a few more reasons which will help you use social media for your advantage.

It helps with brand recognition

Brand recognition is a top priority for all brands. We all want to buy from a brand that is known and is offering quality products. And social media can help you create recognition for your brand.

It has the power to connect you with your customers directly without any middlemen. Therefore, it is imperative to operate the right social media for your business.

It helps you tell a brand story

A brand story can do wonders for your brand. It is a powerful thing that can connect the audience to your brand. For instance, if you tell people a story about a loyal employee, people will unquestionably connect with it. To tell the story, you need social media as it is the best platform to share the brand story with tons of your customers.

Social media is the best platform for providing excellent customer service

For any business, keeping their customers happy is of utmost importance. One step in this direction is to provide them with excellent customer service. In today’s time, social media has become the platform for providing immediate customer service.

It is making the job of the customer service department even more challenging. And if you are not using social media for this, you are lagging.

It aids in building customer loyalty

Every brand likes having loyal customers. Right? With social media, you can build loyal customers as customers who follow specific brands on social media tend to buy from them. They are loyal to your business, which helps increase your traffic and grows your business.

  • To ensure loyalty of customers and attract them towards your business, you need to:
  • Share appealing visuals of your best products
  • Keep them engaged through promo/discount codes
  • Have a Q&A session to interact with the audience directly

It helps to start a conversation around your brand

When people talk, other people notice. And that is what you want for your brand. A simple tweet from a customer saying ‘good things about your product’ can blow up. Other people will see it and leave their comments. All this starts a conversation about the brand, which helps you attract new customers.

How to do that?

  • Engage with your audience by answering their DMs and comments
  • Give a pat on the back to companies you are working with.

Social media is the need of the hour. No business whether small or big can survive without it. Therefore, start researching and place a social media management team in place.
